Our Work

As we continue our work in the development of a comprehensive early childhood system, we focus on the following domains.

• Early Care and Education
• Health (including a medical home for every child)
• Mental Health
• Family Support

When looking at services across the four noted domains, Triad, like all of the Early Childhood Councils in Colorado, also aligns our work with the goals established by Early Childhood Colorado.

To date, our work includes the following services:

• Specialized programs enhancing the quality child care for infants and toddlers (EQ)
• The implementation and management of School Readiness Quality Improvement Project targeting child care programs feeding into low performing elementary
  schools (as determined by unsatisfactory or declining CSAP scores)
• On site technical assistance and quality improvement services/supports to child care facilities
• On site mental health consultations to child care facilities
• Multi-agency family staffings
• Enhanced child care referrals and supports to child care facilities enrolling children with special needs
• Serving as the Local Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC) for Part C services
• Early Childhood Health Integration Initiative
